CAPTURE iOS now has a new name and refreshed look-and-feel with since our 8.6 release. The CAPTURE functionality has not changed, but you will now have additional estimating features in the same app experience.
What has changed?
CAPTURE iOS is renamed to Estimate iOS and the app has an updated, more modern design (based on user feedback and current best practice). Beyond the new name, logo, and refreshed interface, the app also includes new additional estimating functionality.
What has not changed?
The original CAPTURE iOS functionality remains the same. You are still able to access your existing claims, assignments, and questionnaires as before.
What new functionality is available?
Estimate iOS combines CAPTURE’s questionnaire and data-capture capability with estimating features you may be familiar with in Estimate Windows, as well as introducing some new advanced features like LiDAR scanning and AI-powered scoping.
Will it need a new app?
No. CAPTURE automatically changed to Estimate.
What about CAPTURE on Android?
CAPTURE on Android remains unchanged as the Estimate enhancements are delivered through iOS-native estimating framework/components.
